MOHS to Mohs micrographic surgery
Dr. Trainor is a board certified dermatologist and a fellowship trained Mohs surgeon.
Dr. Trainor grew up in Austin and attended St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she served as a teacher in low-income elementary schools in Houston for two years with Teach with America. Dr. Trainor remained in Houston for medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. She then returned to Austin and completed her internship and dermatology
residency at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical school where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Trainor completed her Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (Mohs) fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY.
She currently lives in Austin with her husband and daughter. Dr. Trainor enjoys spending time with her family, cycling (while wearing a helmet with a wide sun brim), hiking, and uphill skiing.
